Workshop on memoir writing

The Thompson-Nicola Regional District’s Library System is hosting a free writers workshop called Write for Your Life: A guide to journal and memoir writing. The workshop will take place over two nights — Wednesday, April 15, and Wednesday, April 22, both at 7 p.m., at the Kamloops Library.

The workshop will be hosted by Kamloops author and visual artist Wendy Weseen. There is a limit of 10 persons for this two-class workshop.

Wendy Weseen was born in Yorkshire, England, and immigrated with her family to Saskatchewan in 1955. A lifelong learner, Wendy obtained degrees in humanities, social work and fine art. In the past 10 years she has become a writer and is completing a memoir. She is currently a member of the planning committee of the annual Kamloops Writers Festival, the Interior Authors Group, and the Non-Fiction Collective.
