Shots fired inside residence on Ollek Street

NEWS/ POLICE — Police are investigating a report of shots being fired early Friday at a residence in the 1000 block of Ollek Street.

RCMPS/Sgt. Edward Preto of the Kamloops RCMP detachment said the residence and occupants are known to police.

“Someone had discharged a firearm several times inside the residence. The bullets from the firearm did not exit the residence.”

He said no one from the residence could provide any details on what had occurred and no one was injured. The investigation is continuing.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
