NEWS/ POLICE — Three people involved in a highway crash at the intersection of Highway 5 and Paul Lake Road have been treated in hospital.
A two-car collision occurred just before 5 p.m. on Thursday. Investigators with the Kamloops Rural RCMP determined that a southbound vehicle made a left-hand turn in front of oncoming, northbound traffic, causing the crash.
The 42-year-old female driver was issued a ticket for “driving without due care” under the Motor Vehicle Act. She and her passenger, as well as the male driver of the other car, were all taken to Royal Inland Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
