The pool was closed a few weeks ago after ceiling panels began leaking during the snow melt. Temporary repairs are underway.

Initial engineering investigations are pointing to an internal air leak in the building’s envelope as the reason behind the sagging roof. The City will take the opportunity to investigate further while the ceiling is removed which will help develop the long-term solution. Options and costs will be prepared once the scope is fully understood.

Westsyde Pool pass holders are able to access the Canada Games Aquatic Centre during the pool closure.
