15 films in 19th Kamloops Film fest
ARTS/ ENTERTAINMENT — The Kamloops Film Festival is back for its 19th year March 5 to 14 at the Paramount Theatre.
The festival will feature Canadian comedies (Big News from Grand Rock, Mountain Men, When the Ocean Met the Sky), family fare (Shana: The Wolf’s Music), international award winners (Gett: The Trial Of Viviane Amsalem, Leviathan, Winter Sleep), female driven narratives (Still Alice, Two Days, One Night), dramas (Mommy, Maps to the Stars, Rosewater), documentaries (The Backward Class, Citizenfour), and the return of a mini DarkFest on Friday the 13th at 9 p.m. with the PG rated vampire mockumentary from the minds behind Flight of the Concords, Eagle vs Shark, and Boy (KFF 2013).
Get more details on the Kamloops Film Society’s website at http://www.kamloopsfilmfest.ca. The Fest will kick off with an opening night mingle and close with a party, as in years past, but there is plenty going on during the days in-between as well.
There be 15 films, four of them featuring industry guest Q&As and another three including post screening “Steeping Discussions” at downtown coffee shops. Keep your eye on the KFF Twitter account (@KamFilmFest) and Facebook page (www.facebook.com/KamloopsFilmFestival) or visit the website at http://www.kamloopsfilmfest.ca to get the most up to date info.

Thanks for the post, hopefully we’ll see you out at a few. I for one am very excited about the line-up.
