The 17th Annual Sun Peaks Winter Okanagan Wine Festival opened Jan. 16. This 10-day festival boasts all kinds of activities such as a Blind Tasting Party, Moonlight Snowshoe & Mulled Wine Tour or A Taste of Art exhibit – unique way to experience the magic of winter at the Sun Peaks village. Rensch, JennThe Kamloops Art Gallery has two exhibits opening Jan. 17 and running until March 14Pam Hall: HouseWork(s) and Michael Markowsky: Faster Than the Speed of Sound. Pam Hall makes visual art, constructs installations, works with language and is engaged in film, video and, most recently, performance. Michael Markowsky medium combines painting and performance, he typically draws and paints while riding inside moving objects such as boats, cars or airplanes.
