Teas for seniors at libraries

COMMUNITY — The TNRD Library System will host a pair of Seniors Tea events featuring live local music as well as tea and assorted goodies.

TNRD LibraryThe first event is at the North Kamloops Library on Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 2 to 4 p.m. The second Seniors Tea will take place at the Kamloops Library on Thursday, Jan. 29, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The Seniors Teas are part of the annual Unplug & Play Family Literacy Week from Jan. 24 to 31. The weeklong event promotes a healthy balance between technology and unplugged play.

The Seniors Teas are free but seating is limited so those interested are asked to contact the library to reserve a seat. Registration for both events opens at 10 a.m. on Jan. 9.
