Man arrested in death of woman found in apartment

NEWS/ POLICE — Kamloops RCMP are investigating a homicide reported shortly after 2 p.m. today, Dec. 30. A deceased female was found in an apartment on Cherry Avenue.

A 41-year-old man has been arrested. Police believe he had an association with the victim.

Kamloops RCMP Serious Crime Unit has taken over the investigation and it is in very preliminary stages.
