Kelowna man dies in accident near Duck Range Road

NEWS/ POLICE — The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died in a motor vehicle incident near Kamloops on Nov. 28. He is Jairo Alexis Vicioso David, aged 34, of Kelowna.

Vicioso David was the driver and sole occupant of a car heading towards Kamloops from Kelowna on Highway 97 at about 5:05 p.m. on Nov. 28 when it collided with a tractor-trailer unit just south of Duck Range Road.

Vicioso David was dead at the scene. Weather and road conditions were noted to be poor at the time.

The B.C. Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate his death.
