Travelling tour on picking a university

B.C.’s post-secondary institutions are continuing a series of public information events Wednesday, Nov. 12. With its third stop in Kamloops, the travelling tour aims to help parents of secondary students access information and guidance for their children as they select the college or university that’s right for them.

TRU is latest entry in search for a performing arts theatre site.

Picking a university gets a little easier.

While post-secondary reps have visited high schools in Kamloops and around the province for many years, the school-hour schedule has traditionally made it difficult for parents to participate in the conversation.

The new evening events, hosted this year in Kamloops, Prince George and Nanaimo, will include a presentation focusing on the many post-secondary options and paths for students in B.C., followed by a fair for attendees to interact with reps from all institutions.

As a collaborative organization, the Post-Secondary Institutions of B.C. are a student-centred group acting as partners in supporting students in B.C. The group strives to guide each student to their best-fit institution and program available in the province.
