Rocky Mountain Rangers Open House

NOV. 8, 10 AM – 3 PM AT J.R. VICARS ARMOURY ON 1221 McGILL RD. IN KAMLOOPS

EVERYONE WELCOME!

The Rocky Mountain Rangers Primary Reserve Regiment is the only infantry regiment in the Interior of B.C. The Rangers have a long and proud history in B.C. and are an important part of the cultural fabric that makes up our beautiful province. The Rangers are the only unit in B.C. that specializes in Mountain Operations and Winter Warfare.

In order to promote awareness of the Unit to the people of Kamloops, the Rangers are inviting people of all ages to their open house event. Come and try out our Small Arms Trainer, get a hands-on experience with modern and vintage military weapons, and see soldiers rappelling from the roof of the Armory.

Learn about the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves, regular Forces and the Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corp. Chat with soldiers of every level of experience, from our most junior members, to veterans of the conflicts in Bosnia and Afghanistan. Enjoy coffee and snacks in the main gymnasium, and a beer or other beverage in our licensed Jr. Ranks Mess facility.
