It’s the last chance to see Western Canada Theatre’s Driving Miss Daisy, Oct. 17 – 18. Based on the movie of the same name, this heart-warming story follows the life of a Southern matriarch and her proud chauffeur and the unlikely friendship that blossoms between them in a time period filled with prejudice. Visit http://www.wctlive.ca for more information.

Sunday, Oct. 19 enjoy an evening of delicious Indian food while supporting a good cause. The Flavours of India have partnered with the YWCA for the It Takes a Community Fundraiser Dinner. There are two seatings, 5 p.m. or 7 p.m., tickets are $40 but you’ll get a $20 tax receipt.
