Two suspects arrested after break-in at KFC

NEWS/ POLICE — Two suspects were arrested after a breakin early Tuesday at the KFC restaurant on 8th Street.

RCMPRCMP responded about 1 a.m. to an alarm at the restaurant and found that the front door had been smashed and someone had gained entry to a cash register inside.

Two male suspects were arrested on Tranquille Road about 25 minutes later. Police said the suspects are a 21-year-old male with a criminal record, who is currently on probation, and an 18-year-old male with no criminal record.

Police are continuing their investigation and the suspects will make court appearances later today.
