Blazers open a new season

Rensch, JennIt’s the Blazers home and season opener tonight. There will be a pre-game party, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., for the whole family with live music, face painting and new merchandise available for sale from the Blazer Store. The 10th Annual TNSC Fine Art Show & Sale begins today and runs until Sept. 28. Upstairs at the Old Courthouse, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., you’ll see more than 60 artworks from ink, pastels, to collage. 13th Annual VW Turtle Race on Sept. 21 begins at 12 p.m. at the Yacht Club. This is an afternoon filled with music, games, prizes, a BBQ, plus a special performance of The Rhyming Captain Hook by Stage One, and of course the racing of the turtles.
