Letter — ISIS incorrectly labeled as political Islam

LETTER — ISIS is a criminal gang pretending to be a group of Islamic fundamentalists. It is not an example of “fundamentalist Islamic terror” since it is not Islamic in the first place.

Slavoj Zizek — mistakenly — classifies ISIS as an example of political Islam. It is not. No monotheistic religion authorizes the mass murder of innocents. Fundamentalists of any faith are not necessarily prone to violence – extreme or otherwise.

CBC says this photo of Collin gordon appeared on Facebook about a year ago.

ISIS uses a political ideology that cloaks itself in a false veil of religion in an attempt to justify its mass murders and other crimes. The members of ISIS are headed for Hell not Heaven under the tenets of Islam.
