Police looking for man who offered girl a ride

NEWS/ POLICE — RCMP are investigating a suspicious incident that occurred Wednesday. A 16-year-old girl was walking along Foxtail Drive in Pineview Valley about 2:30 p.m. when she was approached by a male in a truck and told to get in. The truck is described as a new style, four-door, black pickup. The male driver is described as Caucasian, about 30 years old, large build, with short, blond, spikey hair. The girl declined the ride with the male, who then departed. Police are asking anyone who may have information about the vehicle to contact Kamloops RCMP or call Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
