A weekend of entertainment ‘lasts’

This long weekend there’s a couple lasts to experience here in town.

Rensch, JennSaturday. Aug. 30 catch the final Artisan’s Square of the season at Gaglardi Park. Running during the same time as the Farmers’ Market on St. Paul Street there’s many handmade products to browse. From jewelry, pottery, skin care products to paintings, you’ll discover many unique items for purchase. While browsing, you’ll be entertained by live musicians and performers.

Another last of the summer season is Music in the Park. Tonight, Aug. 29, see The Blue Mules. The name says it all — this is a blues band. Aug. 30 Sally & The Melo Hearts, catch this cover band play an array of music, from Adele, AC/DC, Bruno Mars, or Journey, there’s a favourite for everyone. Last, but surely not least, on Aug. 31 see Earthbound. Their sound has been described as jazz/funk, sure to have you dancing, if not, at least tapping your toes. All performances begin at 7 p.m. at the Riverside Park Bandshell.
