Cyclist taken to hospital after collision in Brocklehurst

RCMPNEWS/ POLICE — A cyclist was taken to Royal Inland Hospital today with non-life threatening injuries after a collision with a motor vehicle at the intersection of Desmond Street and Tranquille Road.

The accident happened about 7:30 a.m. Const. Jake Epp said the extent of the cyclist’s injuries were being assessed.

“At this point in the investigation, it appears that the driver of the motor vehicle was at fault and a violation ticket for Fail to Yield on Left Hand Turn under the Motor Vehicle Act has been issued,” said Epp.
