Motorcycle-crash victim identified

B.C. Coroners ServiceNEWS — The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle accident in Kamloops on Sunday.

He is Michael Joseph Bourget, aged 32, of Kamloops.

Bourget was the operator of a motorcycle heading eastbound in the 300-block of Victoria Street West at about 7:10 p.m. Aug. 10 when he was injured in a collision involving two pickup trucks.

Bourget was transported by ambulance to Royal Inland Hospital but could not be resuscitated.
The coroners service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
