Missing Kamloops teen has been found ‘safe and sound’

UPDATE (5:31 p.m. Friday) — A teen reported missing earlier today has been found.

“Kamloops RCMP is pleased to report that the 17-year-old female reported missing earlier today has been located and she is safe and sound,” said Cpl. Cheryl bush.

NEWS/ POLICE — Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teen.

Hayley Haines was last seen Aug. 4. She is described as First Nations, 17 years old, 5 ft. 4 inches tall, 110 lbs. with long brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say they are concerned for Hayley’s well being. She has left for periods of time in the past, but it is unusual for her to not have any contact with family or friends.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Hayley Haines is urged to contact their local police or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
