Man dies in jump from bridge near Revelstoke

NEWS — A man who died jumping from a bridge near Revelstoke last Wednesday has been identified as Kody Skye Greveling, 28, from Coldstream near Vernon.
The B.C. Coroners Service said Greveling was with a group of friends at the Laforme Creek Bridge about 20 km north of Revelstoke on the early evening of July 30. He jumped from the bridge deck about 25 metres into the water, but on one such jump, he failed to resurface. An immediate search by his companions and emergency services personnel was unsuccessful.
The next day, his body was found with the aid of an RCMP underwater camera about 20 metres from shore in about 12 metres of water.
