Two taken to RIH after single-vehicle crash east of Valleyview

NEWS/ POLICE — Two people were taken to Royal Inland Hospital with minor injuries today (Monday) after a vehicle went off the road on Highway 1 east of Valleyview.

Details were sketchy but RCMP said the accident happened at the intersection with Grand Boulevard at Orchard Gardens subdivision. There were four people in the vehicle.

Eastbound traffic was reduced to a single lane for about half an hour while the accident was cleared starting about 3 p.m. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
