Music in the Park being hijacked

Music in the Park is being Hijacked! Join B.C. Living Arts and Western Canada Theatre as they present this free concert on Saturday at the Rotary bandshell in Riverside Park, 5 to 9:30 p.m.

Rensch, Jenn hedThis family friendly event features three performers guaranteed to entertain. Whether it’s the sultry vocals of Jeni Thai, the Latin flavour of Santa Lucia or the blues-funk of Brickhouse, your feet will be moved to dance.

On location for this special edition of Music in the Park you will find a beer garden hosted by Red Beard Cafe, multiple food trucks, 50/50 draws, raffle tickets and if that’s not enough, there will be giveaways throughout the night just for using Twitter and Facebook.

Jenn Rensch works for the Kamloops Arts Council and will choose an event to highlight each week for The Armchair Mayor News.
