“This service will ensure our customers can easily get to and from our new location,” Gateway Casinos and Entertainment said in a press release.

The company held open houses at the Rona site a few weeks ago, attended by Gateway CEO Tony Santo and other company representatives.

“People across Kamloops are very excited about our plans, and especially about the new services and amenities our new location will allow us to bring to Kamloops. But people also told us they want safe and easy travel options to help them get to and from the new facility.”

The proposed shuttle service is a response to comments at the open houses, said the company.

Details of the shuttles routes and schedule are still being looked but it’s expected it would connect local hotels, downtown Kamloops and Aberdeen mall to the new casino.
