Three found dead in car over embankment near Lytton

RCMPUPDATE — The three people who died in a Lytton car accident are being identified as Chantel Deneault and Shelly Garcia of Lytton and Baron Joe of Lillooet.

Joseph Phillips Garcia survived and was taken to hospital.

NEWS/ POLICE — Three people have died in a car accident in Lytton. RCMP said a vehicle was found down an embankment this afternoon (Thursday) after a search for two men and two women who went missing on Wednesday.

The RCMP helicopter from Kamloops assisted in the search along with Pemberton Search and Rescue as well as members of the public.

A fourth victim found in the vehicle was injured. Police said cause of the crash is not yet known.
