The single-vehicle accident happened about 12:30 p.m. Two occupants of the car were taken to Royal Inland Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

RCMP say alcohol is not believed to be a factor; cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Traffic on the roadway was slow while responders attended the accident but has since returned to normal. However, police say there may be further delays later in the day when the vehicle is recovered.
