Service here Tuesday for slain Moncton RCMP constables
NEWS/ POLICE — Kamloops RCMP will hold a brief service at the detachment on Battle Street at 1 p.m. tomorrow, June 10, to honor their colleagues who lost their lives in Moncton, New Brunswick last Wednesday.
The service will be open to the public who wish to pay their respects. There will also be a book of condolences available at the Kamloops detachment for the public to sign, which will be forwarded to Moncton.
Const. Dave Ross, Const. Fabrice Georges Gevaudan and Const. Douglas James Larch were shot and killed after they responded to a report of a man with firearms in a neighbourhood in Moncton.
Two other members, Const. Darlene Goguen and Const. Eric Dubois, were wounded.
Justin Bourque, 24, has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.
