Teddy Bear Picnic at Prince Charles Park
COMMUNITY — The TNRD Library System is co-sponsoring a free Teddy Bear Picnic and Parent Child Mother Goose Celebration at Prince Charles Park on Thursday, June 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event is open to babies, preschoolers and their families and will feature an array of fun activities — face-painting; an inflatable fire safety house; songs; stories; puppets; a craft table; a Mad Hatter Tea party hosted by Project X and Princess Parties; and the largest Mother Goose circle ever.
The event is free but a donation to the Kamloops Food Bank is appreciated, said the library system. It’s suggested attendees bring a snack, picnic, sun screen, chairs, blanket, water bottle and camera.
