Man in hospital after early-morning stabbing

RCMPNEWS/ POLICE — A man in his 40s was taken to Royal Inland Hospital early this morning (Monday) after a stabbing at the Econo-Lodge Motel, 1772 East Trans Canada Highway.

The man suffered non-life threatening injuries. Cpl Wayne Chung said it appears the victim may have known his assailant but details are limited. The incident is under investigation.
