Custom-made stolen bike recovered

NEWS/ POLICE — A stolen custom-made bicycle has been recovered.

RCMP cruiserThe bike, made for a teenage girl with special needs, was taken from a home on Renfrew Avenue on Tuesday afternoon and Kamloops RCMP have been trying to track it down all week.

Last night (Friday), they received a tip that led to the recovery of the stolen bicycle on the North Shore of Kamloops.

“Police would like to thank the public and media for their attention to this theft which resulted in the recovery and return of the bicycle to a very appreciative young lady and her family,” Staff Sgt. Lane Jumaga said today.
