Sport camp fills the bill on strike day

SPORTS — Kamloops school teachers will be on strike Wednesday, May 28 but students age 6-12 will have something to do — the TRU McDonald’s Sport Camp.

A one-day camp will be held between the hours of 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the TRU gym. It will be a full-day multi-sport camp that will cost $35 per camper.

Ccall 250-828-5270 or e-mail to sportcamp@tru.ca. Pre-registration is encouraged by calling the number above. Day of registrations will also be taken at the TRU gym. Campers will need to come prepared with a lunch, snacks, sunscreen, hat and appropriate footwear.
