Highway crash victim is identified

B.C. Coroners ServiceNEWS/ POLICE — The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman who died after a motor vehicle incident in Salmon Arm on Monday.

She is Gloria Gail Boda, aged 65, of Salmon Arm.

Boda was the front-seat passenger in a vehicle which was in collision with another vehicle at the intersection of Highways 1 and 97B in Salmon Arm about 2 p.m. on May 5. She was taken immediately to Shuswap Lake General Hospital but died there about 4 p.m.

The B.C. Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
