Sixth annual Spring Sprint Tri on Sunday

SPORTS — The sixth running of the Kamloops Spring Sprint Triathlon is set for Sunday, May 4.

TriThe tri will include a 600-metre swim at Westsyde Pool, 20-km. bike and five km. run in the sprint and a 300-metre swim, 10 km. bike and 3 km. run in the super sprint. The Olympic includes a 1,200-metre swim, 40 km. bike and 10-km. run.

The event is a zone qualifier for the 2014 B.C. Summer Games for athletes 13 and older.
