Kamloops RCMP said they received a complaint of a robbery shortly after 10 a.m.

They said a male suspect entered the Golden Buddha and presented a needle while demanding cash from the clerk. The suspect then departed the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was last known to be wearing an olive green colored hoodie and dark colored jeans. He is described as being about 5 ft. 8 inches tall with a slender build.

The suspect was last seen walking southbound on Third avenue. Police were canvassing businesses in the nearby area today to obtain video surveillance in attempts to identify the suspect and are working to determine if this is linked to other recent robberies.

Three other stores have been robbed in the last few days.
