Foul play ruled out in death of man on path

NEWS — The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man whose body was found under a tarp along a Schubert Drive path on Saturday.

He was Glenn William Stecyk, aged 56, of no fixed address.

Stecyk was found unresponsive in an outdoor area near the Thompson River close to the intersection of Schubert Drive and Fort Avenue in the morning of April 5. He could not be resuscitated.

The B.C. Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death. Foul play has now been ruled out.

The family has been notified of his death.
