Police nab suspects in break-in, theft

NEWS — Property stolen from a break-in on Aviation Way on Sunday has been recovered from a hotel room in Aberdeen.

Screen Shot 2014-01-28 at 2.58.52 PMRCMP said the the Aviation Way premise was entered by cutting through a closed-up window opening. Later Sunday evening, they were called back to the same location to check out a suspicious person and vehicle.

They stopped a vehicle and took two males into custody under suspicion of trespassing at night and being in possession of stolen property.

Following a lead to the hotel room, Targeted Enforcement Unit members found the stolen items, as well as property suspected of being stolen in other break-ins.

Police arrested a female at the hotel room but she was later released. The two males were also released with a future court date.

The investigation is ongoing.
