Go to the dump, go skating on St. Paddy’s Day
A few things going on in our community:
It’s FREE DUMP DAY for Kamloops residents today at the Mission Flats and Barnhartvale landfills. The City is holding the free day to encourage a start to spring cleanup. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Next one will be April 13.
ST. PADDY’S DAY SKATE is on today at the Valleyview Arena from 2 to 4 p.m. It’s a free event sponsored by Tim Hortons. Wear green in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Your helmet doesn’t have to be green but wear one anyway.
The Kamloops-Thompson school board will hold a meeting for PARENT ADVISORY COUNCILS, district parent advisory councils and school planning councils Monday, March 31 on the 2014-2015 operating budget. It will start at 7 p.m. at the school board office, 1383-9th Avenue. It will be transmitted by video conference to Barriere, Chase, Clearwater and Logan Lake.
