Open house to unveil Windbreak Street plans

NEWS — In April 2013, the City invited Windbreak Street residents, business owners and other stakeholders to provide their input on potential infrastructure improvements for Windbreak Street.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe input received was considered, together with technical and budget considerations, during the development of the final reconstruction plan. Windbreak Street reconstruction (between Tranquille Road and Parkcrest Avenue) will take place in 2014.

On Wednesday, March 12, the City will host an open house at Brocklehurst Middle School Library (985 Windbreak St.) to present the reconstruction plan. Windbreak Street residents and business owners can drop by any time between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. to view the plan. City staff will be available to answer any questions.

The Windbreak Street reconstruction plan will also be available to view online starting March 10 on the City’s website.
