Mayor Milobar getting on right track

Mayor Peter Milobar cheesed me off when he held his first economic task force meeting in secret. He cheesed me off even more when he held the City council strategic planning meeting behind closed doors.

I’m much happier today, which I’m sure is a big relief to the mayor.

What I’m happier about is the fact he held the second meeting of the task force in public today. Unfortunately, I had a previous lunch engagement and was unable to attend, but I hope to make the next one.

Though I’m sometimes critical of politicians, they should get credit when they do things the right way, so here’s a kudo to Mayor Milobar. Indeed, tomorrow’s Daily News editorial will say much the same thing.
