EDITORIAL – At last, something done about speeders in Westwold, Falkland
An editorial by Mel Rothenburger.
IT’S ALWAYS NICE to see authorities actually doing something when a situation arises in need of action.
Kamloops RCMP, bylaws officers, Kamloops Fire Rescue and others held a public awareness event at the Tournament Capital Centre on Tuesday.
The purpose was to draw attention to the need for care when driving in the area. Raising awareness is always a good thing and usually works for awhile but, without infrastructure changes, drivers soon return to their old, careless ways.
Another dangerous traffic situation, this one between Kamloops and Vernon, is finally being addressed.
